What is Ceramic Coating?
Ceramic coating is a semi-permanent nanoscopic paint treatment applied to your vehicle to protect against common damages like scratches, swirls, and UV exposure. The coating is applied in liquid form but cures to form a hard, turtle shell-like layer over your vehicle’s paint, plastics, and upholstery. Ceramic coatings are typically composed of silicon dioxide (SiO2), often sourced from natural materials, including quartz and sand.
When the chemicals in the coating bond with your vehicle's paint, they create a hydrophobic effect that repels water and other common external factors while increasing the hardness of your clear coat.
